    Confederates, remember this...
I am not sure how much courtesy will be given when our Unionist families are behind your lines in Eastern TN and subjected to your wrath...

Most everyone should be coming through Columbia no matter which direction you're coming from, but for those coming from North Alabama and are taking highways through Lawrenceburg, you can take the turn at Summertown off HWY43 and then use the same address as Eli mentioned.

To the Unionist traitors,I only have one thing to say:

I don't want to talk to you no more, you empty headed animal food trough wiper. I fart in your general direction. Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries. .Look foward to seeing y'all boys come Friday.

          • Need Henry Help

            Gents,
I am going to the Duck River event where I will be toting a Henry for the first time. I ordered some blanks but received the wrong ones. The company is changing them out, but they won't arrive in time. Does anyone have any Henry blanks that I can borrow. I'll replace them with 25 extras as soon as I receive the shipment next week. Please call asap, 770-356-8820 if you can help.

With a desire to be Captain Hicks' LMG section.... :)

              Guys,

For Duck River Line, bring something to trade with the enemy. Also have a good first person or a story to tell. It will make this experience much more enjoyable than burning powder all day and hearing, "I got you. No, you did not." Think about what you can do to make your time on the line more enjoyable.

Fantastic, one of the yanks is going to be without ammo!! I ain't scared of no repeater!

I second what Matt said. There should be plenty of opportunities to become friendly like with the enemy. It doesn't take anything fancy to make the experience fun.

To add to the realism, I have had shipped in from Texas, one winter storm -ribbed for your reenacting pleasure! The weather that we are having in Middle Tennessee today is pretty atypical for the brutal winter weather that January 1863 provided for both armies. No need to thank me, just enjoy yourselves!

Eli, I didn't know you held so much sway over the weather, impressive. If this event was held about 3 weeks earlier, I think you would have had a pretty "authentic impression" of January 1863. I think we hit about -5. Hell, it shut down the schools.

Eli speak for your own part of Tennessee. Here in Nashville, it feels good and I didn't even need a jacket today.
