    Re: "The Duck River Line-Winter 1863"-JAN 31-FEB 1,2009

It sure didnt seem a bit colder than 12 degrees to me....

Matt, several of the IRs have already gotten in touch with me-of course we welcome all of you fellas out there, just have everyone that hasnt emailed me, do so and I will be sending out the info packets early next week. rangernparadise@hotmail.com

I have already reached my participant cap, but due to overwhelming interest and the ability to logistically do so-I am going to adjust the number of participants a bit. Still needing FEDS more so than REBS(big suprise). Those that were in attendance last year will be pleasantly suprised at the scenerio for this year, many suprises...

Eli, a few of us inthe AG were actually interested in going Federal. So maybe we can help balance the numbers on that side at least.
      Take care,

I have had over 200 responses to this post, and am a bit blown away by the response to my humble little shin dig. I have had to raise the registration cap 5 times so far and still Confederate registration is just about max'd out, but there are still several FED slots. Thanks for the quick reponses and all the interest. Last year was an awesome experience and I guess the word of mouth has gotten around. I will be posting the registration list and sending out info e-packets after Veterans Day.

              Eli,

Count another Federal in for the event. I'm one of the Armory Guards guys that Eric Brown spoke of.

                      Eli,
Both Temperance and Drunkard (respectively) Justins have sent their forms in, along with Brian DesRochers and myself to help stall the advancing federals! But judging from the federals that have signed up, all we need to do is place several good cigars and a few bottles of booze in the trail, and the war is over.
