Contact one of the fellas in our mess for details. We'll be up and at it early so try and be up in time..

it will be much warmer sleeping in rifle pits than above ground....we could definatly use a few more "gophers" this weekend.

I feel guilty for not being able to assist. But it is hard for me to pop down from Chicago just for the weekend. I look forward to meeting and working with you all in the near future.

We had a very productive workday this weekend, The Dippin Gourds, built their rifle pits to serve as examples for the rest of the Confederate Company. The directions to the site will be emailed out in a matter of hours, along with a few more details.

I am sure that I missed it along the way, but I need to make sure that I am following equipment guidelines. Are the guidelines in the thread somewhere? The thread has grown long.

                    Thanks and regards

                            Mr. Craddock,
I think you are mistaken. It was Gatling Guns and Mountain Howitzers that they were issued. My Gatling just arrived today. I have 1,500 rounds to go with it. I wonder if that will be enough. I think I will order another 1,000 rounds tomorrow.

Sent out directions last night (email), but for some reason the last 50 got hung up in my mailbox, will resend the directions to the other half of the registration list to night.
