Hi all,
Got back last night from the Spangler's Spring event hosted by the Park Service and the 7th Tennesse and the 2nd Maryland, Co. C. Even though we got soaked several times believe it or not people kept coming to see the firing and other demonstrations. We had 40 or more participants. It was really strange on how completely quiet it was at the Spring when every one went to sleep. No sound at all except for the snoring and release of gas. It was great. A really exceptional group of guys.
Went in Gettysburg to check out the "Cave" (The Depot). Very well stocked and authentic supplies, not to mention vey helpful. Give them your business when you go to Gettysburg, they are one of the best there.
I then went to see Rob Gibson to have a tin type done. Rob was VERY accommodating. He is the best of the best and his work is the proof. He will be moving to Gettysburg soon, so he will be open more days of the week.
Take care all,
Brent Conner
