Thanks Dave. Yes boys, how many times do you get the chance to portray Georgia Militia? Not much huh? Well here it is and you're invited to join up with our company. We need to be filling out the numbers now even though the event isn't until November. So, if you're going to attend, please go ahead and get registered and give Co. D some consideration if you're going to be militia.

Mike ther is a picture on the Bummers website. its of a young boy my age and in a civilian frock coat and what looks like to me is a confederate kepi beat up. I plan on wearin and potrayin this kid. I hope i can serve you well i wanna go cornfed here. If I can get Annus and Vinnie with me we plan to go with you.

Mike i think if i go i plan to go with you along with Annus and VInnie. I wanna tell ya really quick there is guy on the bummers site that kind of look slike me his name is Pvt. James D Means. he has a civilian frock and what looks like a beat up militia kepi of some sort. I plan on wearing and trying to portray this kid.

I am on the fence but I am leaning and swaying confederate, well because I do like using the shotgun but tell me Mike how is Co. D going to be better than the other companies, you plan to capture more feds or you got a secret plan? I am tempted to join the 15th MI though, as I am from MI. Do you have segways for everyone? Well, Thomas, I can't say my company will be any better than anybody else's really. The other commanders are tip-top in my opinion and may even be much better than me in their positions.
It boils down to which impression you want to do and where you want to serve. If you're in my company I'll do my best to make sure you have a good experience that you will remember for a long time. I won't get you lost, I'll make sure you're well fed and that duty assignments are distributed equitably. I will do the best I can for the men - they are my priority. If we're down to one piece of bacon between the two of us I'll make sure you get it. And we will capture and kill as many Yankees as we possibly can.
Since it's not an election year, I won't make a bunch of hollow empty promises I can't or won't keep. The choice is ultimately yours but you are always welcome in Company D.

A friendly bump for those wanting to be in the militia. By my count we have 205 Federals registered compared to 54 Confederate. Now, while the militia should be outnumbered, this is a bit ridiculous.
Aren't you willing to stand for Georgia?! Aren't you brave enough to rid the state of the despot's heel?! Come men, stand and defend the sovereignty of Georgia and teach the devil's spawn a lesson they will never forget!

Yeah but will all the shotguns everyone will be bringing it will feel like 208 men. I am still riding the fence and lean fed to reb everyday. Also I got to much going on to decide which way to fall at this juncture. If I fall reb I am with ya Mr.Comer.Thomas J. Alleman
