Probably a long shot, but thought I would cast a line out there.....
Is there anyone not going willing to lend me a Henry for the event? I realize you'd probably have to know me or a common friend who could vouch for my character.
A pard and I, had lined up a pair locally, but now after repeated attempts they have dropped off the face of the earth. We do have other muskets as backup plans, but thought it was worth a shot not knowing what was out there and the event attrition. Would be entirely responsible for it and its welfare. Would be willing to buy the brass blanks for it, and not only let said Summaritan keep the unused portion, but purchase extra for his kind deeds.
I very rarely do Federal, and our mess hasn't done Federal at a national EFUBU event for at least 7 years, so would kind of like to take the impression to the next level if at all possible....
