Bummer's Issue(somewhat important)

I sure hope my pards are messing with me. Does anyone local or near enough local (who haven't left yet) have a spare rifle musket they are willing to loan out. Reason is, a friend of mine from Colorado who is driving out to the event (as I am flying) is hauling my weapon and ammo. I recieve a message that he is having vehicle trouble. So I might be in a pinch. I don't know if I am going to need it, but right now, I don't want to arrive and be weapon less. I am leaving for Denver Aprx 4am for a 730 flight. Yup they are not messing with me, they are stuck about 2 hours west of St Louis and have to get a rental in the Am which will put them at the site around 10pm. I received a message from greg, if you can leave me your number I will call you right back.

I will leave in the morning from Memphis. I have a Defarb 61 Springfield I could loan for the weekend. Let me know as it will be no problem to pack an extra rifle.

Car trouble is hell, know it well. I'll pack my Enfield as well (mostly defarbed) if needed by yourself, or any other pard in similar circumstances.

Yes that is something that has always worried me on long trips. But it is always good to have a plan B or even C.

My friend Carl is in the same boat, only thing he has with him is his uniforms since all his gear is in the car broken down in Missouri. But he is in the Henry rifle company. He claims he will wait in the parking lot for our Colorado brothers.

Latest word from the guys stuck with vehicle issues, right now they do not think they can make it at all. Which now throws a monkey wrench into the works on my ammo issue. With the help of Greg, I am able to get a loaner 61, but now I short of ammo. I have my own, and my friends were hauling it for me, however because of that, I never made arrangements for purchasing ammo at the site. If anyone has any they can sell me?

Also they were I might need a ride back to Hartsfield Airport now as well.
