Any rails to bend? Others have enacted making Sherman's neckties, something I'd like to someday try.

Had some family in blue that were part of the original campaign, so would be interesting on several levels to participate.

Guess I better begin getting in shape now.

If there is justice in the world, I will make it out to Georgia from California for this...I got two years to put together a topnotch impression and to fit this into my schedule. I hope to make it for this!

Thanks for the info. I am sure there are a number of us cavalry types who would like to burn and pillage the Georgia countryside.
...if only the infantry knew how easy it is to find pie and other goodies from horseback!

Gents,
I have been looking for wetplates and such of GA troops for the event.I have found a good lot,however I know there are many folks who have books that I don't have or maybe an old photo of a grandpa or uncle on the fire place mantel.If so please post with the info and I will look at them and maybe use some of the good ones for the Bummers web page.
