Re: Recruiting for Company "D", US

    Charles,

I will start shaking the trees. It will be very difficult though with the time commitment. I only have to take four days off!

If I go to the bunker, I will have to arrive sometime Friday evening.

Looks like it is time to recap the email to Will this morning on the CR listserver. The big mystery of life is where the heck The Carthagenian is going to meet up with us along the route of march. Got skateboard?

Brian, Friday night is fine for the staff of The Bunker B&B. Will needs to be shown the NC monument in the front yard, and Bev will once again attempt to feed people to death. You know how that goes.

Taskforce Tatum carrying New England's worst and Tarheelia's best will arrive at The Bunker on Friday afternoon. We are prepared to play it by ear. I look forward to seeing Baron von Aufmuth and his Motley Foreign Ranks, but viewing that most HOLY of Holy Tarheel Monuments on South Mountain will be of equal importance.

Looks like States Rights Tatum, J-Ho Lloyd, Hillybilly Birney, and maybe 1663 Gingras will be congregating here. On the I-81 trail, maybe one or two other friendlies may appear along the way in the form of The Carthagenian and Orange Petey, but Petey may still be building that church in Haiti. Think you can drag Mark or that Chinook driver down there?

              Johnny,

Other than that, you have about 10 people awaiting your response on the listserver.

                    J-Ho,

Now, let's see if the level of interest "up yonder" translates into boots on the ground. If memory serves me, 16 Feb 09 is the drop dead date for registration.
