  • Bring along a few bucks!

    All,

Cody Mobley of The Company Tailor will have a few goodies for sale at the event. See his announcement here for details- http://www.voy.com/201657/692.html

Kiev Thomason will have a number of things with him and you'll also have the ability to grab a Starbuck kepi via John Wickett.

Each one of these folks is donating an item to our preservation raffle and have pledged a portion of sales from items purchased at the event toward the preservation bucket.

Finally, note that we'll have two authors on-hand- Steve Mayeux and Gary Joiner will have a few copies of their work available for purchase and with pens in hand to autograph your newly-purchased book!

    Kind regards,
    Fred Baker

Re: Bring along a few bucks!

In addition to all the other fine items for sale, don't forget to pick up a limited-edition Piney Woods t-shirt! They'll be available immediately after the event, before the preservation raffle drawing. Pictures below of the front & back graphics.

They'll be for sale where we're parked at Cane Camp. S, M, L, XL. $15 ea- cash or check only.

Shirt sales will be limited to one per customer, to help make sure some tees will still be available for any latecomers. So a guy won't be allowed to buy 3 or 4 extras for his messmates who are at their vehicle changing clothes, etc. Sorry if this in an inconvenience- just trying to be fair to all. If I have any extras afterward, I'll announce that.

I also have pledged a portion of sales of the tees toward the preservation bucket, so buying a tee is helping that effort too.

    Thank you,

    Dan Hadley

I just called the printer and added a few XXL's to the mix. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

                    Fred,

We aren't sure the antlers are going to fit inside Will's Subaru, so we may bring some does instead of bucks. Of course, this time of year this might not be much of a problem....

Kiev, please ask Jabba the size of that fair garment. Considering at least five opportunities to sport a nifty NY State jacket are within the grasp of the twelve month ree-akkin' horizon, I may be interested. Of course, if it's a size 36 for a small child, or something, well, um, nope.

It's a 42 I think. I saw it at olustee. I will look and see when I open the box here in a little while.

                            All,

Kiev is now the main point from which aspiring tailors can gain access to Ben Tart's fine woven goods. I believe Kiev will have a fair hunk of yardage on-hand. Federal or Confederate, head over to his rig (Lotus Camp- Federal staging area) to saw off a couple yards of good jean wool.

As has been posted, Kiev will have some other items with him, as will Cody Mobley. The Reverend Starbuck is shipping a few kepis down which can be solicited from John Wickett.

Grab some good stuff from some of the best guys in the business and best of all, no shipping!

                            Kind regards,
