Actually the only choice is being a member of Co.I of the 21st Missouri.
You will see why in October 2009!

Re: The Lost Tribes: Chasing Price through Missouri
Actually you should be even more excited. Sometimes the unknown makes an event even better. Let me just tell you if you knew some of the things I do about the scenario you would have nightmares. Remember this is Missouri!
If you really want to go the citzen route make sure you give Silvana a note. Also about the citizen impressions. We need to remember that most young men were likely in the military. The citzens roles for males run on the short side. Many of these roles have already been filled. We have asked numerous male to fill these roles.
We are primarily focusing on filling out Co.I. I have been getting some e-mails about being either in the company or as a citizen. If Silvana has not contacted or you have not contacted her and gotten the OK, then you will be with us in the company. We want to have a good size company for this event. 50-60 men.

Re: The Lost Tribes: Chasing Price through Missouri
I wanted to follow up on Holler's earlier post regarding civilian men. The only reason these Boonesfield events aren't often posted on the civilian side of the AC forum is simply that the village is rather small, and the civilian accommodations are usually fully booked by the time the event is opened for registration. From what I've heard, Boonesfield is much smaller than Westfield or Henkel Square. So we do have to place a tight cap on civilian registration. However, the site administration is planning to move in more historic buildings and workshops in the coming years. As the village grows we will be able to accommodate more people. In the meantime -- anyone who would like to attend one of our events is encouraged to join the yahoo group.
Now, as far as the Lost Tribes male civilian impressions go, we pretty much have the basics covered. If you are a gentleman of -- how to put this? -- mature years or infirm disposition, we might be able to accommodate you as a sheep farmer or something of the like. But if you're a man between the ages of 15 and ... (fill in the other number yourself) then you will want to contact Holler. This is a rare opportunity to portray a military occupation of a working historic village!
