I know some people were talking about arriving in the village a day or so early. We have obtained permission for folks to come in as early as Thursday afternoon. You should check with your coordinator to find out where to sleep that first night. The village is closed to spectators after 5 p.m., so we'll have it all to ourselves.
On Friday morning there will be a special tour for U. S. Army Veterans through the Daniel Boone house & the village, so technically we can't promise an immersion experience until about noon on Friday, Oct. 2. But you can always go fishing in the Femme Osage during the tour, if you wish!
