We have a functioning postal service at Gray Summit, as well as a telegrapher's office. We also have a newspaper.
Those who wish to communicate with the residents may send their mail, telegrams, and newspaper advertisements as follows:
Mail should be addressed to Gray Summit, Franklin County, Missouri. It will be held in the mercantile, to be picked up by recipients.
Telegrams should be addressed to the Printing Office at Gray Summit.
Newspaper advertisements may be sent to the St. Clair Missourian (Gray Summit didn't have its own newspaper.)
Naturally the soldiers won't be receiving mail or telegrams, since they will only recently have arrived but if anyone wishes to contact a resident, please pm or email me. I'll make sure your ads, telegrams, and letters / packages reach their destination.
