  • "Defending the Right Flank" June 4-6 2010

The offical name of the 2010 Picketts Mill Living History is “Defending the Right Flank”. This is for two reasons. First Cleburne was the Confederate right flank at the time when he fought Picketts Mill. Second the 8th Arkansas was moved to the far right of Cleburne’s line during the battle.

I will use this thread to communicate on the history of the 8th Arkansas as well as information about the event.

Uniform Guidelines will be posted Tuesday of this week. The guidelines are not hard to meet but will be enforced. This is a flat haversack event. Your registration pays for period rations. This event is very mobile in the Georgia summer so please prepare.
Registration will open December 28th. The companies have a cap of 25 each. There will be no walkones.
