Friends on the A/C,
Well the snow is finely gone and Spring seems to have arrived. Amazingly we have less than 50 days until WPS-2010! WPS 2010 is a unique living history geared towards representing the work of the Confederate Engineers during the siege of Petersburg to the public, but also providing a unique, quality and authentic living history to the AC Community. We continue to prepare for the event, and this month we take a look at Abatis. While the Confederates particularly along the Eastern front of their lines seemed to have an affinity for CDF as the primary obstruction, the Federals seemed to use abatis more. The event vision page has a lot of good stuff on abatis including our instructions on constructing this useful obstruction.
Remember, April 2nd is closing in fast! The time to register is now!
