  • Thanks from Wilson's Creek

Below is the e-mail I received from John Sutton. We raised $591.00 for the park. Our thanks goes out to the 28 men who attended the living history last weekend. Holler

    Nathan:

I found the donation envelope you left. Thank you for the very generous
donation. We will be depositing the funds in our interpretive support
donation account to help with volunteer, education and interpretation
projects. Please extend my sincere thanks to all the "Hairy Nation boys"
on a fine weekend. We received many favorable comments from visitors
regarding the program. Hope everyone had a safe trip home.

    Keep in touch!

I too had a great time. I learned alot, and met some new friends. I have never experienced frying bacon on that level before.

My son Jonathan was there and had a great time. I dropped by as a spectator with the wife and the rest of the family (passing through on vacation), but if I can figure it out, I have some photos of the company drill demo you all put on at 1100 on Saturday. Well done.
