Woaahhh!
I'm quite impressed...you used to sleep on the ground without shelter by cold. i'm french and one month ago, we did a very nice camp in Normandy by 23°F (-4, -5°C) with a type "A" shelter. Was cold so cold. At 4 a.m, the cold gets harder cause of the frost.
