Attached is a pair of photos of an original regulation Mississippi state regulation officer's uniform showing how the shoulder straps were applied.

All officer's of the 2nd Mississippi Infantry are requested to apply their straps in this same manner...with a 1/2" to 5/8" boarder showing around each strap.

Pat- Thanks for posting. having the standard officer attire will really look great! Think that most are going with the regulations on this one! I know that my frock is per regulations!
