We as Americans finish what we start. And dying for these Colors, or our brothers around us is no different. We will always remember the ones that have passed before us. Even though their bodies are committed to the depths their spirits live with in us and helps push for tomorrow
Check the registered list at the beginning of this thread. It was updated last night. Look at the bottom of the first post and help us contact the guys who are not going to make it because they forgot part of the registration. Email them if you know them to help us get everyone registered.

Guess who on our list probably doesn't get to go to Manassas with the 2nd Mississippi? Look at the guys at the bottom of the list on the first postof this thread. It doesn't look good for them, really. If you know any of them and want to be a real pard, call them, email them, text them, PM them, visit them and tell them to GET OFF THEIR BUTTS! I cannot register them without both PAYMENT and FORMS. They can even email me their form info and I'll fill it out their form for them. That's real service!

I spoke with Ricky Jones last weekend, and he indicated he wasn't going to be able to make it.

Matt,
Thanks for the update. I have reached out to those I know on the list to get their items in. Great work and without your efforts we would not be at the outstanding numbers we currently sit with now!
Gents please contact your pards on the bottom list to get their info into pat and Matt.
The final packette of completed registrations is being sent today to make the event cut off of June 1st. Those men at the bottom of the list have not been registered and I really do not think that they will be. If you know any of them, expected them to be in your company, etc., you can tell them they will get funny looks from the people staffing registration. "What do you mean my name is not on the registration list?," I can hear those nine saying. What if the registration staff is comprised of nazi rule followers that simply say, "Sorry. Bye." If you burned some vacation time to go to the event, spent money travelling 10 hours to get there, etc., and heard "BYE" how mad are you going to be? And if you're as cunning as I have been when I used to attend big national events, you'll make it over to the 2nd Mississippi. But what do we do about your rations, etc., the $10 we needed from you to make this happen? "I'll bring my own food," is about the worst answer you could deliver. How should leadership handle your "Special situation?" I don't believe any leader has the right to take away someone's dignity. So that means, approaching the individual in private first to remedy the problem. If the problem is not fixed then, what is leaderships next course of action? Does leadership owe it to all the others that followed the rules and footed the bill for all that we'll do? I say yes and it's called a fiduciary responsibility. If anyone tries to sneak in and join our reindeer games with out "paying to play" like the rest of us, should we allow them to bilk the rest of us? No one is mad at these guys, but I'm getting ready for at least 9 potential storms. Most of it could be fixed by just emailing me the info that goes on the forms. They don't even have to fill out the forms as I'll do that for these remaining ones. As it stands, we're at 321. I'm light headed and going to take a nap. See everyone in Ole Virginny! This is going to be a blast!

Stunning last minute shocker! Dave West with a Hail Mary email gets in! That's how Co. B rolls when seconds count! New total: 322. Eight wayward boys left.

OK funny boys. If you're not one of the missing eight that we're trying to fix, DON'T begin the registration process now (some men are just now realizing that there will be a reenactment at Manassas this July). You missed it. This is closed.
However you could still join another group at the event. The best unit having the most fun will be the 2nd Mississippi, but we only kept our registration open for seven months and it's now closed.
