  • Barrington Hall Living History - June 18-19

The Armory Guards has been asked by the staff of Barrington Hall to put a living history together recreating the men of Roswell signing up to join the 7th Georgia Infantry. This is a chance to create a good program for a great site. The kit guidelines are simple. Civilian clothing, overshirts, military frock coat, early war jacket, Pre War accouterments, or none at all, civilian gear, pre war muskets, civilian guns, etc. We will have mustering forms, drill confusion, etc. We also need A Frame tents. This will be the first time they have hosted an event of this type on the Barrington Hall grounds. Kiev Thomason is the point man for this one.

Email me at robinslmusgrove@gmail if you are interested in attending.

We've had some folks contact us about attending. Thanks! There is definintely still room for this Living History. Plus many of us are going to be using the LH as a practice run for our Manassas kit.

Aron, don't anger the Commander in Chief! But, it will be great to have you out nonetheless.
