I am raising Company A of the Confederate Adjunct for the 150th Shiloh.
Company A, the Rankin Rough and Readies, commanded by Capt. Elijah J. Runnells, was organized in Rankin County and mustered into state service April 27, 1861 at Cato. The company was mustered into Confederate service Aug. 24, 1861 at Grenada, along with the rest of the regiment. At Shiloh Company A sustained 9 killed and 29 wounded which tied company G for the highest number of casualties in the regiment.
The command structure will be set when I have the final numbers so I can have the proper amount of Officers and NCOs.
Anyone who is interested can send a PM or contact me at chadwrinn@hotmail.com.
Thanks,
