Pard, I think you know I'd definitely be in favor of this.
As far as the wording, I think your instinct to go with "Pittsburg Landing" is correct. I personally like to defer to the actual union veterans in such matters. It was a long time before the southern "Shiloh" overtook "Pittsburg Landing" as the preferred nomenclature for the battle in the minds of loyal veterans and citizens. (For the same reason, I still prefer "War of the Rebellion." But then, I am a confirmed contrarian.)

Agreed Arch. I will take one if they go with the properly called "Pittsburgh Landing", since WE are portraying the 15th and 16th Iowa..Add a Paddle Steamer and I might buy two :) !!!
I believe the Pittsburg Landing will stick. Of course for the reasons previously mentioned, but also as a quasi badge of honor for those who participated in our efforts being that we will, in fact, be landing by paddle wheeler. So my initial thought was almost literally, "been there, done that, and got the t-shirt."

Many People have commented about wanting to see some sort of paddle wheel image on the shirt. So, we'll call this one "Back option 2"Tshirt Back Concept PWB.PNG

Here is one with the Woodcut Image. Just a rough draft. I don't know how possible it would be to actually screen this on a shirt. We may have to try to simplify it a bit. We could also do some white shirts with black print too. My personal preference is black though :) Tshirt Back Concept PWB Wood Cut 1.JPG
