  • Vote for your Pittsburg Landing T-Shirt

All coming on the boat or not.

Cast your vote. These designs were made up using feedback received from this forum. This poll will be open for 2 weeks and the winner will be printed and available for pre-order immediately after. The vote is also open in other arenas as well. Just as a heads up, all pre-order shirts will be $20.00. There will be a small supply available for purchase at the event for $25.00. Further ordering details will be posted after the poll closes.

Please remember, ALL proceeds from these shirts are being donated to the Iowa Battle Flag Project to aid in the preservation of Iowa's Civil War Battle Flags and probably will almost finish the preservation of the 15th Iowa's Regimental.

Please pay attention to the designs and not the colors as the winning design will be available in either white or black. Ordering will be simple so please don't let that discourage you from voting or from ordering.

Very hard to choose! Good work there, pard!

FYI--the artistic level you see with these designs IS reflected in the flags Brandon created for us; I was fortunate enough to see them in person a couple weeks ago. They are impressive, and I certainly have an idea of how proud the boys of 61 would have been of their flags. Donate, preserve, remember!

Thanks Alex, I appreciate that. I had help from John Wickett and Sean Cowger putting these together.

Just as a side note, if voting slows down significantly or stops all together before the two weeks is up, I'll close the poll and we'll begin the ordering process.

As for me, I don't care which. They are all good.

I like all three but voted #2. Would it be possible to put April 6-7, 1862 on the shirt?

              Holler,
It's possible, but my thought was focused on the date of the landing which is why there is only the 6th on there. Also, it keeps things a touch more simple. I did think on that issue quite a bit though.

I'd rather have an image of the USS Tyler or USS Lexington, but I guess a sternwheeler will do.

How about "15th IA" or "15th IA Volls." instead of "15" on shirt 3?

Re: Vote for your Pittsburg Landing T-Shirt

                        All,
I have had some questions come in about a couple of recurring things, so I want to reiterate that whatever shirt wins will be available in either black or white. Also, the shirts shown are the final shirt options and no changes will be made to them. The printing company will have to do some minor simplifications or adjustments for the printing process, but that's all.

                        Bring in those votes!
