US visit

Hi guys I'm a long time fan of this site which is a real god send to an enthusiast who lives on the other side of the planet. I'm on my way to the US from Australia for the first time in many years in July/August and was hoping to catch an event on my trip. I'm a western theater buff and will be spending the majority of my time in the Tennessee, Mississippi and Georgia area. If anyone could provide any suggestions on any events in those areas I would appreciate it very much. Even if only as an observer it would be great to catch up with like minded folk such as yourselves.

If you are in the Atlanta area the weekend of July 21st and 22nd, the Armory Guards is hosting a living history in Atlanta across from Gilliam Park. We are basically 3 city blocks north from where Bate and Walker's Divisions attacked the Federal XVI Corps. Send a PM my way for more details if interested. There is no fee for coming to watch.

Hi Herb thanks so much for your reply. You're not going to believe it but I arrive in the US two days after the event. Damn! Would've loved to be there. As an aside I've checked out your units website and you guys look awesome. I'll be back in the US for a longer period next year with the hope of doing a couple of events so will hopefully catch you guys then. Again thanks for the info it's much appreciated.
