Just read the web-site...particularly the Federal requirements. First, I say this not to be nit-picky, but whoever put this together needs to proofread before publishing.

F. Bayonet Scabbard:
1. U.S. 2 River Scabbard for Springfield or Enfield.
*No 7 River Scabbards

and pardon my ignorance, but what is a "Flat Haversack event" and why does someone need to check a Haversack at registration?

I join Herb with thanks for organizing this. Individuals who pay their registrations and attend have little idea how much effort it takes to organize something like this. And there are rations, too. That multiplies the organizational headaches. Many will volunteer to do an event like this one time. Few will do it more than once. Thanks, Pat and the IR's, for organizing another living history at Vicksburg.
