Were the four from the Forlorn Hope? There's a member of the 55th Illinois buried about five miles from my house. He was Forlorn Hope.
Yes sir they were sited for valor in the storming Party, I looked through the list of all Illinois winners and alot of the members of the storming party earned the citation

I'm not kidding. I had to print up a registration form for another event by saving it as an internet JPEG file... Took me half an hour to figure out, while yours took all of five seconds. See you there.
Patrick,
I agree with Mike, form/registration was easy. Did you get my registration for myself and Jonathan?

A quick note about the Georgia effort down at the Most Excellent Georgia Monument and Square Fort area.
Robby Mitchell has posted a call for participants, or Georgia enthusiasts to send digital copies of Georgia solider photos to him via email, or accounts regarding the Georgia soldiers during the Vicksburg Campaign.
We will have a display set up for the visitors with information of the units under Barton and Cumming. We are looking at having some information set up as well with the Georgians that were with Johnston's command. But, the main focus is Barton and Cumming's men.
Also, for those men who are participating with the Armory Guards effort at the living history. Go ahead and sign up. If you need more information about the Georgia effort, or want to participate with us, please contact me.
Thanks all!
Herb

A Georgia First follow up. Would those who are signing up with us please send me your email. It can be sent to hcoats007 at gmail.com. We've had positive responses to the Peach State effort, but I need to know who has signed up/will be signing up. Thank you!
Georgians! Call to arms, Gentlemen, and you are greatly needed for this effort. Let us not pass this tremendous opportunity with the NPS to mark the contributions of Georgia in this, one of the true landmark battle of the War, with so many of our compatriots marking the same for their own states. Please sign on and let Mr. Coats or myself know you're in the fold - we'll make the logistics as easy as possible, don't let worries about travel, etc., impede you from this opportunity.

The first email concerning THE Georgians at the Vicksburg LH has been sent. If you are going with the AG effort, and do not get the email, please let me know.
Company commanders can expect an email to be sent out this weekend with participant emails. Up until this point most know the people in the group, but I'm wanting to cover all bases. You will also receive emails from me with directions to where registration will be set up, time the programs are over on Sunday etc. Please have all registrations in ASAP. I extended the period for regular registration until the 12th, but if you send it after that it will still need to be LATE registration fee applied.
