    Re: 150th Battle of Pickett's Mill May 30th - June 1st, 2014

Friends, Registration will open October 23rd. The registration form will be attached to the event website. Fee will be $20. This covers rations for the entire weekend and some extra stuff. No one on the event staff makes a profit, left over proceeds go to preservation. I'm also toying with raffle ideas and the most hardkewl of hard kewl T-Shirts.

Any early word on Federal command structure/companies etc? Have you guys reached out to any specific groups?

Mike, Joe Blunt is the Federal commander. Brian Hicks is the Confederate commander. I've got a few email addresses to collect for company POCs, but they consist of the usual suspects in the campaigner realm: ONV, 48th NY, SCAR, Liberty Guards, etc. The "who's who" is going to be posted soon.

I am still open for more companies being formed too. The invite process is a two way street. Well, cyber street.

Yeah not sure we will have this on the schedule though I have been trying to sell the guys of the 24th MO on it. Would definitely help if someone reached out to Cal.

                  Mike,
I'm not trying to sound like an ass, but maybe Cal needs to reach out to somebody. If the 24th doesn't go, I got a gray suit for you

24th or not, I will definitely be looking to staple these dates on my schedule.

Lol... You're killing me. Anyhow, this event was brought up within our company at Chickamauga but I am not confident it is going to make our 2014 company schedule. We've traveled a lot over the last year, being so far out west, and there's a feeling to do events closer to home next season ie. Missouri, Mississippi, Arkansas etc. Will I be there? Probably. But an outside effort to recruit our company from Fed leadership sure wouldn't hurt. I'm sorry I was under the impression that units were being contacted and sought out.

                        Mike,

I feel your pain... I've got a diverse group of folks from the Pacific Nor'west, Chattanooga and faraway Maryland falling into to the company I'm forming. We're going blue. Emphasis will be on the company formed from Adair County, KY.

The Army of the Ohio will be putting together a company from within the battalion. If anyone is looking to go with us, has friends etc. drop me a note and I'd be happy to converse with you. Predominantly from Ohio and Western NY. Email is easier than PM as I often forget to check the PM's.

                              Regards,
