On Saturday October 15th, Bristoe Station Battlefield Heritage Park in Bristow, Virginia is hosting a special luminary of the park. The luminary will highlight all the Civil War events that occurred at the park, such as the Confederate encampment at Camp Jones in the Fall of 1861, the August 27, 1862 Battle of Kettle Run, and the larger October 14, 1863 Battle of Bristoe Station. The park is currently looking for living historians in the Northern Virginia area to help as various vignettes to help teach the public the history of the Park and the influence the Civil War had on Northern Virginia.
