What: SCAR Federal Infantry Battalion (123rd Illinois)
When: October 7-9, 2016
Where: Perryville Battlefield State Park, Perryville, Ky.
Who: Host Group – Southeast Coalition of Authentic Reenactors
Primary Battalion POC: Tyler Underwood, tylerlunderwood@yahoo.com & Brian Hicks, Brian_hicks@usa.net
The Plan: SCAR will be forming a battalion to portray the 123rd Illinois. We will be brigaded with the 105th Ohio commanded by Will Eichler. The brigade is to be commanded by Rob Murray. Our goal is to have 6-7 companies of 30-40 men. Ten companies would be great! You can count on typical military duties of the period to include guards and pickets, fatigue details and ration issue. We will also most likely do a ammo issue providing everyone can properly roll and package their cartridges.
