Mansfield State Historic Site is hosting a Living History Battle on May 20, 2017. This will be in conjunction with a larger living history program ongoing May 19-21, 2017. The campaigner adjuncts to this event will depict the 22nd Texas Dismounted Cavalry and the 67th Indiana Infantry. The unit contacts for these two impressions are listed below.
This event looks to present at focused view of a segment of the April 8, 1864 Battle of Mansfield that took place on the site of the modern day Mansfield Battlefield Park. Thus this will be a large scale living history program with a historically founded and scripted battle scenario.
