137th New York Infantry recreated

Gents,

A group of five of us have worked together, definitely since BGA150, to organize battalion level efforts. Ivan Ingraham approached us through Jeremy Bevard and myself and asked us to organize the 137th NY part of the Battle of Wauhatchie event. We agreed so here we go!

This thread will grow with information on the logistics of the 137th. I'm sure we will get a separate historical thread opened soon.

There are a lot of details yet to work out! So far:

Colonel Ireland - Ivan Ingraham - organizer (read up on this one...)
Lt. Col. Von Vorhees - Will Eichler - SCLI
next in command - Thomas Steele - OVN/Sally Port Mess
Adjutant - Sam Lowe - Western Rifles

Company - Western Rifles - Andy Roscoe organizing
Company - Broadside Mess - Stephen Pavey organizing

Four other companies have been reached out to and are going through their process already.

Good morning, Gents!

I'm happy to announce two more companies have confirmed.

Terry Parker and Gene McCann will organize a company based in Company F, Rowdy Boys.

Andy Ackeret is the point of contact for a company forming with the ONV and 36th Illinois working together.
