Impression guidelines for Co B
All clothing to be as clean as possible since this isn't a campaign event. Domestic jean or imported cloth. NCOs are expected to have proper insignia on their coats
Coat
1. Frock coat with minimal or no trim. If you have trim, black is strongly preferred. Block I or English import buttons
2. Jacket commutation types, same as frock coats
Trousers
1. Sewing society or CS issue
2. Civilian trousers. These are allowed but crazy colors and fabrics will not be. Don't make yourself a target for the enemy or the 1st Sgt
Hats/ Caps
1. Civilian hats of a sturdy and practical style.
2. Kepi without trim
Belts, black leather
1. Georgia Frame
2. Roller buckle
3. English snake
4. Forked tounge
Cartridge box, black leather to match the caliber of your weapon
1. CS made
2. US made boxes of a prewar pattern, 1839, 1841, etc.
3. English
Cap pouch, black leather
1. CS made
2. US made prewar

Havesack
1. Painted cloth or unpainted cotton
Canteen
1. CS tin drum
2. US 1858
Knapsack
1. English import
2. "Kibler"/ CS copies of prewar army "Mexican war" knapsack

Weapons, to be clean, serviceable and free of rust. Seriously, clean the thing. It ain't gotta be perfect but if it didn't look like it was dragged out of the swamp, that would be great. Please bring a bayonet
1A. US 1842 .69 cal is the preferred weapon for this company
1B. US 1816 conversions, no flintlocks
2. Mississippi rifles, .54 or .58 cal. no bayonet required for these
3. US 1855 rifle musket
4. 1853 Enfield rifle musket, allowed but discouraged
Bayonet scabbard, black leather

2. US prewar, no 7 rivet late war scabbards
3. US (or CS copy) saber bayonet scabbard and belt frog
