  • Stones River Update

    Greetings boys!
    1. Make sure your weapon is clean and in good condition.
    2. Make sure you have 20 rounds of ammo for our demonstrations on Saturday.
    3. Brush up on your base ball rules and skills. We are going to play Saturday afternoon.
    4. Bring something to eat by the fire Friday night. We will not issue rations until Saturday morning.
    5. Review the guidelines. No tents of any kinds, no feathers in your hats, you know the drill.
    6. First person. We take pride that we are pretty good when it comes to first person. We also understand that others are not comfortable with it. Don’t break the mood by talking about modern topics. If you don’t know what to say silence is authentic. When talking to the public please break first person. Our job is to educate.
    7. We plan to be on site by 4:00 PM Friday night. We are camping at the visitor center.
    8. Sunday we have some morning activities. Sunday inspection and a tour of the battlefield. We will be done by noon.
Please let us know if you have any questions.

    Thank you,
    Holler
