I was awake and heard/felt the quake. At first I thought my workshop was sliding down the hill from all of the rain we have received... looked outside; still there. I also felt the aftershock at work. I'm glad it wasn't originated from Huntdaw's area... that is supposed to be a Super BAD one!

Say Ron... you didn't eat any Peanut Butter and Banana sandwiches earlier..... did you?

It woke my father-in-law up at 530-540 something in Cincy. That was about the same time our two dogs were going crazy yapping.

I'm enjoying all the comments from you "first-timers" when it comes to earthquakes. Out here a 5.2 would only make for light conversation, with the addendum "yeah, well do you remember Northridge (or Loma Pireta, or Sylmar, or Morongo Valley, or ect, ect.):D

Of course a lot of you folks deal with twisters, and I'd much rather go thru a 8.0 than be even near a tornado!!

Indeed--

Tornadoes are not fun AT ALL. How about going through one when you are a kid in the backyard jumping on the trampoline and seeing one go by several streets over.
