What happened to the enfields?

Hi guys,

I was wondering what happened to all the enfield rifle muskets after the war?
I know a number of springfields were converted to trapdoors and that many revolvers were sold out of service on converted but what was the fate of the enfields?

Hallo!

The majority of the P1853 4th Model "Enfield' that the Italian reproductions are based on were never issued, but rather went into storage.
Many were later reconfigured as breechloading "Snyders."
