Hey All,
I am proud to announce that Nancy Troxel and I will be married at the Old World Wisconsin Living History event Labor day weekend.
The event will feature Lincolns election Campaign in 1864 and all but a small honor guard for visiting politicians the impressions will be civilian.
The 1856 Methodist ceremony will take place in a period church in the Yankee Village at Old World. Old World is the midwests largest living history museums.
All ettiquette will be proper to the period. There will be a pig roast supper to follow at the reception.
The wedding will be held at 4:00 PM. August 30th.
Generally they were much earlier in the day but park activities have made us adjust the formality.
We are using this forum to invite Y'all. If I were to send invites to everyone I knew in this hobby it would take me a year to fill them all out.
Just RSVP here so we know how much to get food wise please.
As was customary then gifts were not expected.
You are all family and we would love it if you could join in our most joyus of occasions.
Cheers
Terry Sorchy
