I have just tried to do my first ever business with Missouri Boot and Shoe. Paid for an order some time ago and was promised to have it by Sept 1. After many inquiries I have given up. They don't answer my emails or return my phone calls. Looks like I will not have my order by the time the said I would. Has anyone else had similiar experiences with them? I'm quite disappointed.

I have MB&S accoutrements and a pair of brogans, very satisfied customer. Brogans came before promised delivery date.

        Hi,

What e-mail address did you use? I talked to them about 2 weeks ago, and I got a e-mail back the same day. This is the address that I used mobootandshoe@sbcglobal.net . I hope this helps.

I have had great luck with them. I have placed a few orders this year with no problems. I actually placed an order a couple of weeks ago and at that time they let me know they were a little backed up. Plus, the first is 5 days away.....

            Ronnie,
I haven't had any problem with them. When I ordered my shoes from them, Mr. Serio was very attentive to my emails. I wish you luck.

Great stuff, Great Quality and better yet, Great people. Have almost one of everything they offer. I have not talked to Robert and the boys since Pea Ridge, but I do know they get slammed from now until November every year and then again the first of the year until April. There have been plans to finish the new shop for some time but they are just too busy to get it done. They are almost literally working on top of each other.

It is probably no comfort, but we all know when you make something for someone else, it is hard for that person to understand the circumstances which sometimes prevent completing by X date. Hang in there. You will be very happy with the product.

Best shoes anywhere and the demand you are experiencing is testament.

I've likewise had good experiences with them.

As with any vendor, keep in mind that if they are answering your emails and phone calls, it is probably taking time away from working on getting gear out the door.

I just ordered some items from Mr. Serio...again......& I have spoken to him when the order was made, and his wife very soon after the order was made. Like Mr. Stevens mentioned, they are busy. You will be very pleased when you receive your order.

I had an order delayed recently but it was entirely my fault, when paying through paypal I added an extra L in the e-mail. They caught the mistake and let me know and the order got placed. Great people and great customer service, I haven't received the stuff yet but I'm not expecting it for quite awhile due to my mistake.

Check the website. Use the new customer service email address. I made an inquiry yesterday and received a response within hours. Current wait time (for me anyway) looks like about 7-8 weeks. Can't complain about that.

                            Re: Mb&s

They delivered a couple items to me on time/ahead of time earlier this summer. I have two more items on-order, but didn't give them a "need by" date.

I would recommend email and/or phone call if you don't have your item by September 5 or so. They've been pretty responsive to me in the past. However, I know there are times they get busy, or have work to do that keeps them from the phone/computer sometimes.

On behalf of The Lazy Jacks, I've ordered literally thousands of dollars worth of kit from MBS over the last few years. Never had one problem with either quality or international shipping. Bob Serio is a most accomodating and dedicated chap; a pleasure to do business with and, as has been mentioned previously, his boots and shoes are simply the best. I got through the goodness knows how many miles of BGR without even a tinge of discomfort. Patience!!!
