Mods, I didn't know where this would fit, and if it fits, if it doesn't my apologies.
A friend of mine is a student at the NC School of the Arts and is filming a Civil War film. This isn't a kid with a camcorder, these are professionally done with producers, directors, proper lighting, cameras and even assistants to all the "actors." I've helped him out with a WWII movie. The film will be shot near Winston-Salem, NC on October 24-26 and November 1-2. I know this is right after Cedar Creek and the weekend of the Hodge March, but I told him I'd throw out a net. Here is what he needs, 10-12 Federal Infantry, 20 Confederate Infantry. The impression would be early-mid 1863, eastern theatre. They will provide some meals and are making arrangements for camping or if you don't want to camp they can make arrangements for places to stay or you can go home if you live in the area. I have put his producers number at the bottom and all interested parties can contact him. If you want you can send me a PM and I can always forward intersted parties info and do my best to answer questions. The filming process is a lot of fun, and the PA's took good care of the extra's with coffee and even running out for tobacco runs.
The producer is John he can be reached at 252-560-1395
