Just arrived, via Emergency C-Section, Jo'an-Claire Beasley. Born to my wife Meredith and I about two hours ago. Baby is doing great, mother is having a rough night...but she will do fine. And by the way...we did have a Medical Operation Plan.;)

That is a beautiful name.

Hold mama's hand. I just read an article, that in many cases holding a woman's hand is a more effective pain killer than medicine. I pray her recovery is swift. :)

The program of compulsory reintroduction of the French at the school works really well in Louisiana...:sarcastic

Well in "mah beist southroun drawl" (Redneck is not proper thank you) since I've no ability to speak Spanish, nor knowledge past cuss words in "Franch", I'm proud for you both and wish God's speed in recovery, and his touch in and through out life. Wow, is that a run on sentance or what ?...by today's standards it may well be.

:D Dennis--Its always fun to mess with folks who don't know the difference between these dialects. I speak Upper Class Lower Alabama in a modern business setting, Georgia Mountain in a family setting, and Redneck when I'm dealing with anything to do with mechanical work, cattle, hay baling, or home maintenance.

May the lovely Miss Beasley grow up in an environment that values ALL her languages, and the rich heritage within them.

Now Miss Terre, I know alot of cattle farmers and hay baling folks who are either very smart or very good gamblers. Maybe thats why I like to play cards and bones and talk beef genetics.

And to YOU my dear...dear Brother Danis..."he who could sell matches in hell"...he who I have seen who could speak like a priest one miniute and start a bar fight the next...Stop by the St Domonic this morning.

William Miconnet, mon sha, Jo"an-Claire spoke French again this morning. She said " GOUEX Ti"GERS ", and to answer your questions we speak French within the veins, and more-so by the vines...saving a good bottle of Champagne..for when everyone is home.

To all, thank-you for all the phone calls, post, etc...we were very lucky to have been inside the hospital when the placental abruption occured. From the minute the placeta broke and the baby was born was 22 min. Meredith loss a very large amount of blood, and it will be about a week before she gets to come home. My "GRAND-Baby" is doing great. We are very, very lucky.
