      Re: My son

I have in the past used the the big Percheron cross ( in my avatar) for rides with special needs children, several of whom were autistic. If a person is not touched by the connection that those children make with horses then they have no soul at all. I have seen their faces light up when placed in the saddle. And have seen tears in the eyes of a couple tough old broads. The experience always made me even more grateful for the health and well being of my 2 daughters.

There is the same initiative in Israel with dolphins, people say the results are magic and I think that it is the same thing with horses.
I like very much your… "The experience always made me even more grateful for the health and well being of my daughters 2."
When I read Brent message with my wife, we thought the same thing for our children.
What is interesting in the collective prayer around a concrete case as there, whatever of god, religion, faith, thought, etc. Towards which is steered this prayer, I want to believe and cannot refrain from believing, that all these concentrated energies, have one impacts, a strong energy …

              Re: My son

Tuesday, was a hard day. My son Justin whom this thread was started for has had a possible setback. We were told Justins' stay at John Hopkins (KKI) was to be extended until the 19th of March. However I wish that was the only finding given to us. We were told Justin has a heart problem as well. He has been in Baltimore since Oct. of 2008. Justin has a very, very rare chromisonal abnormality, partial trisomy 14.(Only 8 documented cases world wide) and has severe autism. (Also svere retardation) Justin is almost 17 and has never spoken a word. It hurts that he's never been able to say "I love you daddy".But I do know he does love me. Back in July 2003 Justin almost died from a alergec reaction to a new medicine. Stevens Johnsons Syndrome caused his skin to die and fall away.He was misdiagnosed at 3 different locale medical facilities, However due to a REAL miracle John Hopkins became involved and his life was saved by a experimental treatment.
The few children that I know about with the trisomy 14, all has severe congenital heart defects, except Justin. That is until Tuesday. Once again I humblely ask for prayers for my wonderfuly perfect son, Justin.I have always thanked God for my son, and never said"Why". If you have children never take them for granted and think, "things can wait". Your previous post and prayers for Justin has ment more to me than any words I could ever express.

              Most Sincerely,

Prayers are on the way. I am so sorry for you and your family, but I will say this, Justin is a fine looking young man. His story is so sad yet inspiring, because it seems he is one tough little feller....May God stay with him and bless you and your family, and help you through these trying times.. Now I have to go dry some tears and look in on my little guy and the 13 y/o:cry_smile
