  • Real life achievements: Utley

(Mods, if this should be in another folder, please move it. I wasn't certain.)

Sometimes we forget that folks that post here and show up at events have a real life in the modern world. I just saw this article in the local section of the paper and wanted to share it with you all. Chris Utley, owner/operator of Carter and Jasper Sutlery (AC approved!), is a member of the law enforcement community and was recently recognized for his work:

Coming from part time work as a Sheriff's Deputy in Williamson County and as a member of the Drug and Interdiction Team for the county, this is one heck of a bust. Our county is actually part of the 21st Judicial District so we can claim Chris as one of our own!!!!!!!!!!!!

Killer stop and haul bro! Keep up the good work!

I think this justifies why people should be more patient the next time Chris doesn't automatically respond to an email. Good work, Chris!

                    Joe and everyone,

Thank you all for your kind comments! I didn't even know that this made the papers since we usually keep our seizures and operations under wraps. A blind squirrel can find a nut every now and then.

Thank you all again. I am very proud to be able to serve the state and country that I love and to at least try and make a dent in the drug problem. Proud to know you too, Joe!

Thank You for your service officer Utly - too many times Law Enforcement, Firefighters, Emergency Workers/EMS are overlooked for their service to the country and their local community and I for one would like to take the opportunity to say Thank You All!

This maybe so Chris, but not 405,000 hits of x! I hunted for the "Mother Load" for 2 1/2 years and the most I ever hit on was about 1/2 Mexican Brick Weed. I'm so darn
jealous, yet so proud! Summer showed me the article in the paper, and it surprised me that it listed all of your names, but it is good to let the scrote bags know you're waiting in the night!
