EFUBU, it sounds like the original owner of the abbreviation was poking fun at the famous clothing line worn by all of the hommies Dane, is this necessary? ...FUBU, which means "For Us By Us." So the next time you see some white punk kid wearing a shirt with FUBU on it see if he knows what it means.

Most Black kids who wear FUBU gear do know what it means. It's a mark of pride in the community. They even know what the 05 stands for, and it's not to diss tha Man. Most of the White kids who wear the stuff have no clue. According to the founders of the company, it never occurred to them that non-Blacks would want to wear their stuff in the first place.
