I hope that some of you might have access to original shelter halves. I am interested in the exact diemater of the bone buttons used on them
Mr. Geade's books tates 5/8 inch which is 16mm but the size is stated with 27 line which is 17.1mm if I remember correctely.
I have several original bone buttons whhich are of the shape of the ones pictured in Gaede's book. They are all between 16.7mm to 17.3mm in diametre. I have several others that are of the same pattern but they are only 15.3-15.6mm in diametre.
I would be most interesting to get information of the diametres of original shelter half bone buttons with proval.
