Re: Confederate railroad car being reconstructed

Well, we're going to use the boxcar again & film it traveling down the runway of a small local airport, to get footage of scenery zipping by. Then we'll loan it to a local Halloween scaremare for October, then it'll come off the trailer and become a storage shed where we'll store our lawnmowers, yard tools, and period ambulance.

You should see the footage we got that weekend, simply amazing.

      Sam

I initially want to fill the roof up with guys, but safety and lack of numbers kept us from doing that. It does look really sharp with you three up there.

        Greg,

From evrything I have see on this, you all should take pride in the efforts you have put into it.
Good form! and maybe it will help shed some light onto future film making for this period. Well, we can hope?

Thank you Blair, I'm hoping to get this film done over the winter. We're getting close to the editing process. Perhaps a couple more small film shoots.

We've been working on this project for 3.5 years now, little bit at a time. Its a no-budget affair, but so far its looking really nice for a grassroots project.
