    It's a model 1874 infantry enlisted belt and buckle.

      That's a Rog. M1874 Hagner U.S. Army belt and plate. Remained limited issue until circa 1904. Various Civil War monuments, created in the 1880s and later, sometimes incorrectly evidence this plate on Union army figures; at least one is somewhere around the Wheatfield at Gettysburg, as I recall, and one is on an otherwise swell Union figure in an east-central Indiana town.
