I have been mapping out the movements of family members through the war and have hit a wall. Does anyone know the location of Camp Trousdale which was the Camp of Instruction for the 20th TN Infantry. I have tried the OR and many other sources and I have no problem finding it talked about, but not it's location.

Camp Trousdale was located in Sumner County Tennessee.

The site can be found near present day community of Portland TN in Sumner County along the Louisville & Nashville railroad..
