I have been involved in re-enacting and living history since the Civil War Centennial. Former N-SSA. On to French and Indian War, the Revolutionary War (Brigade of the American Revolution, Continental Line, British Brigade, etc.). I am an historian by avocation, collector, writer and preservationist.
I am looking for a high quality unit which members of a certain age. I know at 53 I am not going to be spooning with the lads in early spring and winter sans dog tent. But I was an early advocate of the old "authenticity" movement and all that has become in the progressive world over the years.
As such, looking for an infantry unit with members in Maryland, Northern, Va or central Pa to do several quality events per year (like big ones - but also enjoy educating the public because Lord knows kids dont get it in school!).
