  • What are some of your favorite history blogs

Most of us probably have the AC bookmarked, and check it on a fairly regular basis, but I am wondering what history related (not just Civil War) blogs that we also visit regularly? I know there are some well put together and updated blogs out there, so please share some of your favorites.

A couple that I find enjoying to check in on are:
http://www.newyorkhistoryblog.com/ (relates to all eras and aspects of New York history)
http://www.thehistoryblog.com/ (relates to all history around the world)
http://www.common-place.org/ (relates to mainly to colonial and early American history, a new issue every few months)

Kraig McNutt's wordpress Battle of Franklin blog and Lee White, Pat Lewis, and Daryl Black's BullyforBragg blog, I check frequently for AOT and Mid TN related subjects. There are more but that is my contribution to the stack as it pertains to my specific interest.

A Collaborative Investigation of the Civil War's Western Theater

Right now it's the one I look at the most...I do look in the Blogs section of the AC web site from time to time.
Lee and crew have some neat post's that can change perspecives, like the ones posted about General Bragg.

Thanks for the link to the New York history site. One of my favorites is Kevin Levin's Civil War Memory:

Levin is a history teacher in Virginia who specializes in studying how "th' woah" was remembered in the postwar south.
