Anyone got a source for historic rope? The chandler that I bought several hundred feet of marline rope from some years ago has stopped stocking it and doesn't have a source to order it from.

Do you want "rope, line or cordage"? A circumference or dia. of your wants would help.
Also, what do you consider as historical or appropriate material?

By 1850, the US Navy had replaced most hemp line with manila line. Tractor Supply has several different sizes of manila.
