David just emailed me that the new SIC & Co book hit # 1 on the Amazon.com UK chart in the US Civil War category.
I don't know how the Amazon.com US chart works, but it is #799,800 on their best sellers list. Kind of funny.

Not a problem! I can't wait until the Peter Tait book comes out. I hope that Shannon Pritchard revises the Collecting the Confederacy. Last time I talk to his publisher, they were looking into it. Depends on how many request they get and that was back in June. Take care and good luck on your success'.

Speaking of books...

I was speaking to Tim Prince of College Hill Arsenal, he mentioned that
Russ Pritchard & Corky Huey were about done with their book on the Enfield
and it had a few surprises. One was the proposed price tag of $100.

It is always interesting to see what new information comes to light on Civil War
arms and material culture. David Burt just found something on Tait epaulets which
is stopping things in their tracks until it is researched further.
